Sheffield Utd (A) post match thread

I’d take that performance/result all day, every day to the end of the season if it meant we won multiple trophies again.

- It’s 40 days since the season began on 21 September
- We’ve played 10 competitive games against parked buses
- 6 of those games have been away from home
- We’ve had the worst injury list of any team, anywhere
- We’re playing players out of position to cover
- We’re bedding into the squad some promising new players
- We’re 2 points off the top of the league table
- We’re on the cusp of guaranteeing CL qualification
- We’re in the QF of the League Cup

I’m no happy-clapper but reading the match-day forum these days is awful. The WUMs and Bots I expect it from, especially those linked to The Red Filth and The Scouse Filth (no offence ‘Toffeedude’ and any Evertonians.. may you continue to have a good season!) But come on, lads and lasses, give Pep and the squad a break! If we stay in touch with the top of the table, progress in the cups and get everyone back fit and match-fit.. well, let’s see what happens to this team in the new year!
The International games wont have helped a lot of the players either.

I can’t agree to be honest.

He was up and down and the key driving force for several attacks with the final ball just being a bit off.

Disinterested? Some of you lot worry me at times.
I agree with FI I'm afraid, he's not looking quite on his game at the moment. Of course his usual level is way above everybody else on the pitch usually so it is noticeable. I wondered myself whether he's carrying an injury.

Disinterested because of fatigue not because of a lack of desire.Through frustration,he was getting angry at himself i thought.

It was a very uncharacteristic KDB performance.

There is no joy in that City squad. Certainly no joy watching them. I enjoyed the Pearce days more that this. And I'm not joking. Give me Vassell and Cole over Sterling and Mahrez. Or
Bosvelt over Rodri. We are awful. Something needs to change. Probably the only change is me walking away finally.
You may be as well sticking to the hurling and Gaelic Football in that case.

You agree that De Bruyne is disinterested? Because not only is that a completely moronic statement, it’s also wrong and disrespectful.

Nothing really surprises me on here though. Last week FI was saying he wanted Walker out of the team since Cancelo’s technical ability would gel with our midfield on the right (****ing lol).

That's not what I said, if you've got an issue with FI try a PM.
