Sheffield Utd (A) post match thread

Great 3 full points away and another solid clean sheet to the tally. After a victorious trip to Marseilles, this Bramal Lane visit was going to be difficult.
The lads negotiated it very well, with a superb first half that made the blades goalie their motm. After that the expected legginess was dealt professionally to see out the result.
Walker's golazo celebrated diplomatically.
We're getting there, some players quicker than others.

Good first half. Sluggish second but never really looked troubled.

Worrying lack of cutting edge. Mahrez is shit.

Good result but I fear pep will pick Mahrez for the Liverpool game and that would be massive mistake :

spot on matey

pep is a master and still getting results without a striker and a left back ? its what people don't see and start moaning when city form dips and we only win 1.0 its crazy

so lets show some respect and stop the moaning even after a very hard game away to sheff utd that we

Looking back in the last few years there have been many a game where we have played beautiful stuff and lost so an ugly 1-0 win on occasion will do me.

Decent day. 3 points and covid test was negative (although the text to tell me was at 6.15 this morning)

Come on the Hammers, not much hope with this one though.

Ref got pass marks today and finally a bit of credit from the (USA) commentators.

CB is looking so much better now.

Cancelo continuing his good performances and definitely starting to look the business.

A very pleasing away performance and result against one of the more cunty teams to play against.

Promising.

I don’t give a flying fuck how we played, how they played, tactics, strategy, MOTM or any of that shit. I want to reach through the screen and strangle Michael Oliver. Four cards? Five cards? Kicking our players. Sweeping them out. Keeper time wasting until we scored. They know we have no striker, and no Ferny to give a sharp slap back. So pull, clatter, smash and whack anyone who could score, or our CBs. And keep doing it, because there are no consequences. Glad we won but other sides will look at that and just try to batter us physically, especially if Oliver’s running the match.
The only positive is that Oliver can't ref the match vs. Scousers ... I think. He can't, can he??!!
