Hate when I see things like this. Kompany used to make these statements and it'd always end up with egg on our faces. If we don't win it'll be because of this.
What's he said that's wrong there? I can't see anything?

Granted the point on Vinnie mind - I remember the 'hunting season' one, and obviously the comments before we lost the derby 3-2. But what gundogan said there is nothing like those

My prediction is the exact same as West Brom. Either we take a big lead nice and early and coast to a boring conclusion of the game, or it's a really irritating and unnecessarily tense affair where we're huffing and puffing to get that 1-0 win.

Me too pal and a good reminder that we cannot take our opposition for granted. Cheltenham being the most recent example of a banana skin we could have tripped up on. But that game against Bolton is etched in my memory. I can't remember any other game that we were as dominant and ended up losing the game. I came out of the stadium shaking my head in total disbelief.

Adrian Chiles put together a clip showing the ball hitting the woodwork with a "boing" after each one, funny but with a jagged smile...

Thanks for posting - but it brought back awful memories. Never seen anything like it before or since. How on earth we lost that game I will never know. I remember thinking at the time that only Dunninho would give away a pen like that in the final moments of the game. Either that or an own goal, of course.
Tbf we did the sane to Blackburn in the promotion game

If we are clinical against the Blades there is only one outcome , we dont want another West Brom home game were their keeper has a worldy and their defence has a charmed life , a win and a clean sheet anything more is a bonus and put pressure on the Dippers to win at West Ham

The Blades win yesterday will have been helpful in focusing City minds on Saturday. You can't take anything for granted in this league, other than dodgy VAR decisions... ;-)

Speaking of Richard Dunne... doesn't he hold the Premier League record for the most red cards? (or he did at one stage) or was it own goals??

It could plausibly have been both!!

Still he was a City legend at the time! :-)

Ouch ! That brought back painful memories - unbelievable game ... couldn't believe it at the time, and still can't now.
