Ahh he is a twat then, fair do's, he just seemed "lively" to me in tv interviews. The old young manager full of passion etc etc and so on, i just assumed it was that.

Their owner needs to make some business plans imo, he is just kinda ticking along now, either sell up and lose a few quid if you must or get your hand in your pocket.
I have no beef with Villa either really, in fact besides Liverpool and trafford rovers i am fairly impassive with other fans and clubs in general, i do have a distaste for them two though.

Moyes would be a sound option for them but it will end up Brenda with more blue sky motivational bullshit.

Horrible person, a bit weird and arrogant even for a profession full of arrogance, that is from a member of his own backroom staff that I know. Moyes has been sounded out already, Brenda was also mentioned, but that is because the person I know, actually likes him rather than Villa looking at him I think.

Further to this, I've just texted him, he was called just before the news broke. He doesnt know who its going to be and is fearful for his job, he was hoping Moyes as he is less likely to bring all the backroom staff from Spain, but he doesnt want to leave Sociadad apparently.

Not well liked within the club from what I know, if you are weird and arrogant, then you need to be good at your job.

Not really a surprise, considering they've lost six in a row.

I never really rated Sherwood as a manager, but after he took Villa to the Cup final last season, I thought he might make a half-decent job there.

The club is in a mess and it's going to be a big job to save it from relegation, IMHO.
