In that case, I think the reality of the situation got to him, maybe he killed 2 people and couldn't face continuing the spree. It's scary that he was able to avoid capture for that long though....

I saw a later video where he's calmly reloaded the weapon before he shoots it at two cars. He then gets on his scooter and drives off.

Apologies if the answer is obvious but there always seems to be a lot of these attacks in Brussels/Belgium is there a reason for that? They weren't in Afghanistan or Iraq I don't think

I went Brussels a few weeks ago, very run down place, one long road full of foreign shops, litter/rubbish everywhere, old concrete high rises, I was the only white person I could see on this long stretch. genuinely felt I was in the middle east somewhere. All i could hear from my hotel room was Police sirens.
