It stops others paying £50 and the Tigers lose £38 a seat. If they didn't but they would always sell out to those who didn't join in.
CIty didn't boycott Wigan, we just got poor crowds that season away, and it was the Wigan fans not showing up that caused the price to be dropped for the following game. Just like City did no boycott Sunderland, Spurs, Palace etc this season, just a lack of demand.
