RM seems to be all stick and no carrot, which i believe to be a flawed management style. From what it is possible to glean from his playing days, his previous roles as manager and numerous interviews his self-belief is unshakable and therefore impossible to change his m.o.
Every manager in all spheres must have the ability to get the very best out of those he manages, with whatever method it takes. He must also be very good at his job. to have an answer for all problems, and to have a knack of picking the right staff who will stand up to him when needed. For the future's sake and the success of the academy i think he should go. Before the full details are known i will keep an open mind , before criticising the club, there are some powerful vested interests who wish to cause as much shit as possible for us

Given who it looks his replacement will be, the 89 of you who want him sacked should give your heads a wobble IMO.

You mean Shay Given is coming in as a new manager?

Ric can I vote again please?............................................................. my vote would still be NO though, even if Shay came back.

Why get rid of the best manager we've had for 30+ years? (Pure madness and smacks of "Typical City").
To get better ?

Where's your proof Pelligrini will be better (a few poxy league titles in Chile don't count in my eyes btw)?

It's no good for the players and the club if he remains here. Like others have mentioned his position is currently untenable.

Need a fresh start, yes from me.

I've voted yes but it's because I feel a change is needed, I wouldn't be upset if Mancini was to stay. I'll always be grateful for the job he has done for us but I do think we can improve.

And yes I think we can improve under Pelegrini.

Yes and so should Marwood and Kloss

We've had a manager for three and a half seasons. To me that has been stability

If Roberto was such a bad manager, then how come he got the best out of the players last year to win us the league?

The only thing that changed was that some key players were allowed to leave (NDJ particularly and Adam Johnson to a lesser degree) and we didn't replace them with better players! Roberto publicly made it clear what player's he wanted in the summer and got none of them (a big fat zero).

Was that Roberto's fault or the club hierarchy?

We've gone backwards this season, the club's failure to protect Roberto during the many press conferences constantly sniping at him has not helped him one bit, this has bound to have fed through to the players and their attitude towards him and his match day instructions/tactics.
