Should Tevez contract be extended

This is why we need falcao right now. The prospect of losing both mario and tevez is worrying and we need a class replacement

I've no problem in him seeing CT see out his contract and then heading back to Boca, whatever happened is in the past, on the park he always gives 100% and has been a terrific player for us, we do need reinforcements if Mario goes however i'd be inclined to give Giudetti a go as the fourth striker but he isn't 100% fit at the moment but when he is i hope we will at least see him on the bench.

He's been pretty average for us since about the end of 2010 to be honest. I'd have happily sold him when he put in his first transfer request.

Him and De Jong have always been players that will be let off the hook for crap performances because they run around/fly into tackles a bit more than everyone else.

It's a myth that we'll struggle to replace him as well if you ask me. We've always played our best football when he hasn't played.

Slightly off topic maybe but I keep hearing how we should have guedetti replace one of our other forwards.....

people seem very very convinced he is going to be able to make the jump from reserves to first team.

Im just wondering why people are so convinced he is going to be good enough whn so many have tried and failed to make that final push onto the top level (not just at our club)....?????????

people seem very very convinced he is going to be able to make the jump from reserves to first team.

Im just wondering why people are so convinced he is going to be good enough whn so many have tried and failed to make that final push onto the top level (not just at our club)....?????????

If Tevez wants to run down his contract to return home thats fine,he deserves that right.If we can win 2 more trophies before that even better.I feel we should remove Mario from the squad to free up space for a proven world class player. Guidetti should be ready to fill Tevez`s shoes by the time he goes.

He's a very exciting talent, which I think is what other people have spotted. The top 2 scorers in the league this Season are Suarez and RVP, both who played in the Dutch league at the same age as Guidetti. Guidetti last season scored more than them. Hopefully he can keep up the development, he's come on leaps and bounds in the last couple of years. Shame that weird virus has stopped him progressing this season, but he seems to be very mentally strong and confident in his own abilities, and I reckon he'll be banging them in within the next 2 years.
