i think he knows that by the time his contract is up he'd be more of a squad member than he is now.

Still he won us the league last season, no doubt about it. I know had he not had a hissyfit we could have had it won by March... but that's life.

He won us the league? Huge lol.

de niro's absolutely right ....

without doubt it was the return of Tevez to the side that inspired us on that title winning run ...... until his return we were running out of ideas , confidence , and were becoming erratic in our results ... and worse still , at that point , the rags were pulling off winning results.

It was only after Tevez's return , and the brilliant win at Norwich , that we found the belief , and the form , to go on the winning run that ultimately led to glory.

So yes , we can thank Carlos Tevez .... because it WAS his return , and involvement , that undoubtedly sparked an increasingly flagging side into title winning action !

Not a huge surprise that he wants to go back home and not a huge disappointment either. Carlos was part of phase 1 for City's plan for winning trophies and it will soon be time for phase 2 where more new players will come in and help us to the next level.

the difference now is he'll go with our blessing and our thanks, when he came here he hurt the rags in a major way, if anything he wound the clock up that started ticking and tocking. his arrival showed all football the power shift was very much on. yes he's been paid well but he could have been paid well anywhere. he won us the title along with the rest of a very good squad. grateful i am.

Agreed. His shenanigans in 10/11 and last season tarnished his legacy somewhat but he'll always be loved by us.

Never forget fellow Blues.

This more than anything rattled Fergus, United, and their fans.

Probably one of the best PR stunts ever.

Wonder where it is now?

Good luck Carlos.

i think it was the game against wba when we thrashed them 4-0 at our place.

i still say as much as anything it was mancini taking the handbrake off because we were 8 behind with nothing to lose

Wonder where it is now?

Carlos owns it now, it's back home in Argentina.
