Should the club stay silent or fightback?

we didn't get Kompany overturned so we absolutely will not get Mario overturned.

there are people in there who want to do this to us, and we keep letting them.

why don't we just start, you know, behaving?

Problem is the player will begin to question his own judgement for every situation he is involved in for fear of another ban if not be the ref then by the media , by the opposition whinging and by the FA.

All we want is consistency , if Kompany and Balotelli have to serve bans then so should Johnson and Rooney etc.

they won't, end of.

thus we have to pussy foot around till we're big enough to call the shots.

I think we are already JMW , its just that we haven't been for long enough and as JWL once penned if you want to be like the folks on the hill , you have to be able to smile as you kill.

Keep silent. We are not going to win and you have to pick your battles.

If you take on the press you will lose unless you have the support of the majority of the population like United do. We are very much the pantomime villain of the press and the football-going public so any protestations about victimisation are simply going to encourage them in their witch-hunt. Better to simply play the game and try to win.

I was very impressed with Platt's performance in the post-match interviews and I would suggest that he does them all between now and the end of the season. I dread the Rafa/Keegan style rant that the media is trying to provoke so that they can say we've bottled.

The club should fightback, but only on the field. Winning the Premier League is the only way to serve out humble pie.

I do feel that everyone wants us to fail, I do feel that calls are not going our way. But we as fans just need to sing our hearts on and continue being the 12th man. Then it's really up to Mancini and the lads to be motivated by this. We have a squad capable of doing amazing things, they just need to believe in themselves (which I'm 99% sure they do).

This is the new roller coaster blues, it never went away, It just takes on new emotions and the ride is faster and as crazy as ever.

We should fight with our voices in the stadium and let the players fight with their feet. We can win this battle!

City til we die

Stay silent ,lets hope we take it on the chin and that Mario learns from it.id say he`s our 3 rd choice striker right now anyway.
The big issue is can we develope Mario in to a top class professional or is he always going to do these stupid things.

Fight back !

Don't accept it for starters, let Mario give his opinion, and play on Wednesday.

I think Mario should also ask his lawyer (or City their's) to look at twitchers defamation in his sky interview where he states about Mario "he's done it quite often before", when in fact I don't think he has ever done it before, that's if he "done it" yesterday in the first place.

City should also ban the telegraph from the stadium for as many games as Mario gets, for that dreadful piece they did today calling for police action.

I think we should ask the police / cps to take a look at the footage. I think I know what they would say, and it would show the media / FA for the cunts they are.

I'm confused as to why a player who has been found guilty of violent conduct yet somehow scoring the winning penalty in a very important game for you would further the theory of this agenda. You've had some crap decisions no doubt but what team hasn't?

I'd say if Lescott had got the book thrown at him then you would have genuine cause for annoyance but as it stands a Liverpool-esque protest wouldn't look good.

Can't be arsed reading 11 pages, but correct me if I'm wrong, ballotelli has been charged and as it currently stands has NOT been found guilty of anything.

Has been mentioned earlier in the thread and spurspinter told to fuck off whereas he backtracked but just shows the mindset of people when a trial by media takes place

If i was city i would of:

made a statement on the on-air slander by other managers of our players. Ferguson on Kompany and Arry on Balo. Simply shocking the slander they gave our players live on air.
Nothing you can do about players twitter accounts etc but managers talking like that about our players is simply not on.

Make more of a fuss/complaints over certain referees like other teams do. I wouldnt miss never havign Walton again ref a city game.

Point out inconsistencies to the referee's boss and the FA over our very soft yellows/reds and other things that goes unpunished against us. Utd was the clear one, No card for Giggs and nothing for an Elbow by Evra. How?
