Just seen a post by City Chief on Twitter saying we're the fifth best shirt seller in the Prem behind rags, Chelsea, Arse and Dippers and 13th in Europe overall. 342k shirts sold last year compared to Chelsea's 899k. Not sure of its authenticity, but if true we've some way to go before we can secure a deal of that magnitude. That said we should be able to command a better deal when the current one expires in a couple of years.

The value of these kit deals is not just related to how many shirts you sell, but also to the value of the brand they're associated, image, etc.

I'd expect us to gain at least 2-3 times the worth of our current deal.
