Should We Prioritise?

Personally, i think we'll win 2 ( including League Cup), maybe 3 if we have a few lucky moments.
Even if we win 3 though, the media slant will all be about the one we didn't win.
If we won all 4 then i fully expect the FFP stuff to be ramped up 1000%.
Unfortunately, this side won't get the credit it deserves

As long as Pep is in charge, only priority will be to focus on the next match in front of them
Yes Barca.
Pep will just try and win the next game and see how it pans out.

I think that the international break came at a good time because the pressure is now on and being cranked up by the media.
When the players come back it will be all hands to the pump.

In the knockout cups, our best chance is obviously the FA Cup, where I would like to think we'll make the final.
If it's Wolves in the final, then that will be a tough one, as per our league games with them.

In the European cup, I actually don't believe we will win that with these full backs.
No proper left back, including Mendy and right backs that have the ability to daydream.
Barca / Juve / Liverpool / Spurs will all target that position.

That leaves the league.

We think Liverpool have been getting the rub of the green, and they think we have.
We think the refs are biased towards them, and they think biased towards us.
We think the media want them, and they think us.
We think the PL want them and they think us.
We think the neutrals in the country want us to win, and they think the neutrals want them.

I'm hanging my hat on the fact that the PL champions generally lose 3-5 games.
Last year was a one off, when we lost 2.
Therefore, Liverpool to lose 2 more games. (We've already lost 4)

If the F.A. Cup was right in the middle of all the Champions League games and our toughest league games (Spurs, Man Utd) then i think i'd consider it a lower priority. As it is, we've just got one favourable looking game against Brighton to navigate before we even get to that crucial period and then we'd simply forget about that competition until the league is settled either way. With Fulham (A) and presumably Cardiff (H) not looking the hardest of tests in the week ahead of that semi-final, we may be able to rotate a little and leave a bit in the tank for Wembley.

Then the focus majorly shifts to the Champions League, where we'll very likely need all our best available players on the pitch throughout. How we might rotate away at Palace will be dictated by what we need to do for the home leg at Spurs. Are we defending a first leg lead or are we going to be chasing goals.

Next it's the crunch week for the Premier League as far as i'm concerned. I think we need to come out of that Man Utd (A) game above Liverpool in the table to have a good chance of winning the league. If we're not, but we're still in the Champions League, i'd give some serious thought to prioritising the CL at that point.

Essentially, taking one game at a time is always the answer but i'm sure privately Pep will have one eye on the bigger picture and on any occasions that he feels that we're in control of certain games he'll be trying to reduce the workload on several of our key players and take advantage of our deep squad.

Go for it. Can have a well earned rest this summer, other than a few England players in the Nations League.

Can never be classed as a truly great side though until you've won back to back quadruples.
