Should you always support your 'home' team?

I dont live in manchester, but city fullfilled all what i wanted as a fan. others may have different needs than i do. In the end its still only enterainment like fucking idol on tv.

So to classify ppl depending where they live or level of support are just wrong IMO.

i see myself as a die hard supporter who pay huge amount of money to watch city, because for me its always an away game, where airplane tickets, hotell stays needs to be purchased

No, you don't have to be Mancunian. It's a matter of choice. I was born the wrong side of the Pennines, we moved over to the North West (not quite Manchester) when I was very young and City were the local team.

We will get a lot of glory hunters supporting us now. Bring it on I say. We will always have our loyal fans. What City need are people to spend money on City and make us competitive when Platini's UNFAIR PLAY rules kick in.

You have to be born within a five mile radius of Maine Road.

Short memory. All my City supporting family originated from living 200 yds from our Hyde Road Ground and 3 or 4 generations on, we're all following City as a result. And its a great result!

I'm goosed if the 5 mile rule applies. Born in Que Que, Rhodesia. Used to watch City at the Redcliff Hotel where they showed Match Of The Day on an old cinema projector. Used to be about a month behind. Anyway there was an old boy who used to go on about City being the greatest and i supported them from there on. Strange thing was this old guy was Brazilian but his favourite player of all time was colin Bell. Used to be a real treat if City were one of the teams being chosen that week.

That's an interesting story how you became a blue mate, nice one.

I support my local team as well as City its quite easy when your local team plays non league football, hardly ever play at the same time.
