You have to be born within a five mile radius of Maine Road.

Oh shit! I didn't realise that. 45yrs on and I only find out now that I needn't have endured the aggro.
Born and raised in Altrincham wont do eh?

ps as stupid comments go, yours takes the best of the New Year so far award..........

Nah.

I grew up in Cheshire and had to cross the border into Greater Manchester every day. The bus drivers used to turn around at the border sometimes.

If you're not the offspring of the guy with the "End is nigh" sandwich board you're not a real blue

Mr Pennington I think he was called, from Partington. He was a friend of my dad's, who taught at Yew Tree and Sharston. I was born at Withington Hospital, so that's me qualified.

How many miles is that in pounds, shillings and pence?

I was born in Lytham.

All blue from Great Grandad in Gorton.

Hope hospital for me. My Kids born Good Hope, Sutton Coldfield and still Blue, Grand kids: Burton and wear their City shirts with pride!

When I lived in Tamworth, I followed the Lambs when I couldn't get to see the Blues. Followede them to Wembley for the FA Vase. Still go now and then.

Im from Swansea so my local team wouldnt be too bad at the minute. My dad grew up watching the 60s city side and has been blue ever since. From day 1 he taught me the only way is City ;) Its was weird growing up because everyone supported Swansea plus a premier league side. Good job it has always been city for me as I imagine there are plenty of split loyalties at the Liberty this year.

I wasn't born in Manchester but grew up in Manchester to Parents who are not from Manchester. You don't have to support your home team but you should have a genuine reason to support the Club that's yours. Anything else isn't right.
