Sick of some fans

Why not Petrov for Robinho ? Whatever the sub is I dont care as long as its positive. I'd just rather not see us trying to close shop with 3 DM's against bottom of the table, at home.

Plus don't forget we ended up playing the last 10 minutes with 10 men because of unnecessary subs, Elano looked pissed off and could have seen the game out no problem! Bottom line Hughes doesn't like him, doesn't want to play him, and is probably gutted that he's done so well in the last 2 games, simple as IMO.

Some people on here need to get a grip and not use any excuse to start another 'Hughes clueless' thread.

Have any of you bothered to check his post match interviews? Elano signalled to the bench he was struggling ffs! I suppose you all wanted Hughes to keep him on anyway?

Really ? Cos I thought he look pretty perplexed when the board went up with his number on it.
Anyway, the point is that I could have predicted that sub from the very start (and did in the match day thread). It's just so typical of Hughes to take off our attacking threats for another DM. It's not as if its just this game...Didnt he do the same against Hamburg away when we were 3-1 down ?
There's just no positivity sometimes.

^^ THIS ^^

people need to accept the fact, like it or not, hughes will be there next season, and i fucking hope we win a trophey next season, not only for my pleaseure of city winning something, but speaking to the 'anti hughes brigade' who probs at the time will all say they never wanted hughes to go

The fact we won the game and scored without conceding after he brought Gelson on proves hughes was correct or should at least spare him any criticism.

I hope Hughes does win us a trophy, but that wont all of a sudden make him a great manager.
Steve McClaren won a cup with Boro, but that did make him a great manager. That wouldnt prove anything. Id rather have consistency every season....battling for 5 or 6th spot...even Champions League, rather than a tinpot cup.
