Sadly, I don't see any future for Cavani behind Aguero, or as part of a fluid front four. He isn't well-rounded or technical enough.
If you want a striker that can also play as a #10, Robin van Persie is the best out there.
Van Persie's best position is actually slightly withdrawn as a second striker. That way, he can use his control, and passing to supply other forwards / freeing the winger before making his run into the box for a cross or pass.
Now if only he would promise to stay fit for us ;).

It's genuinely amusing to think how we could look after another transfer window. I still look at the team sheet, check it's City I'm about to watch, check the team sheet again.. To think it's going to get even better, jeepers indeed.
Agree with Jumanji RE: Cavani though. I'm still not really feeling the love for him on here. I think he has a very specific and complimentary system at Napoli that we just don't nor won't play here. RVP would be truly superb for the role you've put him in. His whole forward play is just incredibly well rounded.

The more you think about this formation, the more you realize we already have the best, or second best, player in the world to play there. I'm talking about Tevez of course, who possibly is only second to Rooney as a nr 10. Plade him in your line-up instead of Cavani and we're good to go.
I wonder what the chances are of Carlitos staying with us past this summer. If he wants to stay, and wants to do his all for the team, we'd be frighteningly good next season with only a few additional signings. Hazard and Martinez would be enough, with both players being very versatile and could be played in many different positions.

My problem, Greekblue is in your delivery rather than your opinion on this matter altogether. Cavani cannot play behind Aguero. Agreed. no, he got a 2nd yellow for handball when it was whacked at his trailing hand which was slightly behind him but close to his body.
