Silva back in training (page 40)

Re: so how long is silva out?

Even with Silva in the squad, we have drawn vs Moscow and lost against West Ham, so his absence, which is the most likely outcome as of now, may not have much impact on the game on sunday, provided Nasri steps up, which I am sure he will.

just watched the highlights of the 4-1 and he certainly worked hard in that game but i think its a little to much expecting that kind of performance from him on Sunday, he's quite clearly not fit and has a few pounds to lose

It is just a one off game, he can put a shift in if he wants to. We cannot afford to loose more points, especially at home, if we are looking to keep up with Chelsea. Expecting to see Nasri in the number 10 role, with Sergio as the lone striker.

fair point, also we have beaten better man u teams with a poorer team than we will have on Sunday, we will be ok maybe this game will click us back into form

Re: so how long is silva out?

Time for jovetic and others to stand up and show form, nasri is only just returning, unfair to ask him to play an absolute blinder with him only just returning

Re: so how long is silva out?

Shit that he is out.

Tired of the criticism of MP for playing him against Newcastle. Silva played 60 minutes in the same round last year against Newcastle and also started the Leicester game. Was that wrong? Did we criticise MP then?

This is just unlucky. I'm totally with Marvin and his comments earlier in the thread.

We weren't playing the frickin' rags 4 days later, last season. The decision to play Silva this time was a totally unnecessary risk. Sorry, but it was real bone-headed management

Why is it unfair to ask Nasri to play a blinder . If he is fit to go on the pitch ,he is fit to play well
