Some welcome good news perhaps? (Not sure how reliable the source is)

David Silva will hand his struggling Manchester City team-mates a huge boost by returning to action after the international break. The Spain midfielder sustained a knee injury in the Capital One Cup loss to Newcastle United and has missed the last three games. But the City playmaker is now off crutches and has been given the green light to resume light training this week. Silva has been one of this season's few bright spots for boss Manuel Pellegrini, who is hopeful his man will now be able to return for the must-win Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on November 25 at the Etihad.

People on here under estimate the contribution of Kolarov too, if we can get both back we will be a different team.

Silva along with Aguero are the 2 best premier league players at the moment, Chelsea are top because they are playing better as a team, so Silva is very important to City .

without stating the obvious (any team would miss the quality of Merlin), OUR team should start to move their asses when playmaker back. Negativity right through the team will hopefully disappear quickly being replaced with confidence & movement meaning teams will start to fear us leading to getting back to winning ways:-) IMO. Anyone agree?

Deffo agree. Lack of movement is one of the biggest reasons why we struggle IMO. It is also one of the biggest areas where the top teams in europe are miles ahead of us.
