I sincerely hope we never find out his true value. As far as I am concerned he is priceless. I think he is the best player in the league.

Thought Merlin was fucking fantastic in Munich. Just back from injury, yet pressed them in possession high up the pitch.
Kept the football for us and got a well deserved goal. His overall play took him head and shoulders above every one else

the fact he would walk into real,barca or bayerns teams , means you are probably correct , the best midfield player in a blue shirt since colin bell and i couldnt pay him a higher compliment.

Nah, I think there are only 2 other players in the world who have the natural playmaking and possession ability of Silva and that's Iniesta and Xavi.

Try asking barca fans if they'd swap either of those in their prime for Ozil, Ramsey and wilshere ......


That's how highly I rate silva and believe MP does as well, bet he's the first name on the team sheet for every league manager he's played for when fully fit
