Silva or Ozil

I think today gave everyone the answer.

Silva is absolute world class, a true magician.

Not wishing to spoil the fun, but I was speaking to an Arse fan at work (potentially preparing himself for the assault), who said Wenger has been overplaying him this season, and his stamina (lack of) was fairly well known at Real Madrid IIRC.

Still, Silva has just come back from injury. First 70 minutes against the best club side in the world whom he proceeded to bend over with no lube, and next game against the league leaders.. He's had his own problems.

Like we've covered time and time again, Silva isn't just a playmaker, he's a meastro. He doesn't just provide the final pass, he runs the game. There's a huge difference.

Ozil does seem to have a bit of attitude problem. Refusing to applaud your away fans even after a team mate goes over to remind you is not on. I'm so happy we have Dave over here. A brilliant little magician!

Silva this season has added something he's been missing - goals. He is just pure world class.

Silva is better. And so is Nasri. They both were unstoppable today, and neither were even at their best in my opinion.

Easy this one ........ David silva

Wouldn't swap him for a combined offer of Ozil, Ramsey and wilshere.

Then you must be mad.

Nah, I think there are only 2 other players in the world who have the natural playmaking and possession ability of Silva and that's Iniesta and Xavi.

Try asking barca fans if they'd swap either of those in their prime for Ozil, Ramsey and wilshere ......

That's how highly I rate silva and believe MP does as well, bet he's the first name on the team sheet for every league manager he's played for when fully fit

I think i'll stand by my above quote from last night

Based on todays mighty performance you were right!

This is coming from a big fan of Ozil: I would take Silva and Nasri over Ozil all day!!

I think Merlin is back to his best and that is great to see.

The good thing in recent games when he has not been playing others like Nasri have stepped up to the mark so his absence is not the big problem it has been in the past.

I think next year will be the time to judge Ozil. I like him but think that there are a number of better AM's in the Prem including Silva, Nasri, Mata, Hazard and maybe even Lallana.

Have Ozil and Wilshere found their way out of Fernandinho's back pocket yet? I think today laid this thread to rest, Silva's not even fully match fit but he easily outshone the £42m man.

This thread is a joke.
Ozil is that kind of over-hyped player the media tries to put on the lime while they never live to that hype ( Mario comes to mind ).
In my opinion, Ozil isn't even on par with Nasri's caliber, let alone starting to think of comparing him to David.

If he was any good, Zidane wouldn't have let him go, and who knows best in the world how to rate a midielder if not him ?

I think the Arse midfield - Ramsey, Ōzil and Nasty Jack - don't have the belly for an honest middle of the pitch challenge. Ōzil plays pretty stuff, Ramsey seems fearful of another horrific challenge coming from somewhere, and Jack soon gets that fucked off feeling if they're aren't two goals to the good.

Silva or Ozil ? ha ha he he someone been pulling the Christmas crackers early, thats a belter
