Sim only deals.

o2 pay and go, no contract, free txts and calls and some data but i just hook up to bt or pubs when i'm out. Supposed to top up once a month but never do. Once free stuff has run out i bang a tenner on and start again.

After much negotiating and haggling, we've just signed up for (3 phones) 20gb data, European roaming, unlimited texts etc... £16 pm. inc vat.

Seems alright... We can give each other any data between ourselves as well.

Everyone has EU roaming now.

I have unlimited calls and texts, 3.5 GB data with Plusnet for £8 a month.

i know Virgin are doing 45gb for £18pm. Which sounds very good, but we have a caravan on the Llyn peninsular and the EE 4g signal is bang on, so didn't really want to swap networks just in case it cocked us up at the caravan.
That's what I'm on and if you don't use over 30 GB the 15gb the plan is trippled off roles over so this month I got 60gb for 18 quid... bargain

There is no denying that data prices have fallen into the abyss over the last 2 years. The deals available across most networks are nothing short of astounding and for pennies.Truly have we all landed.Phone companies do not want you to go Sim Only as the real kick back is on new phone upgrades. Now called me a cynic but I have a theory that phone companies gave the manufacturers a nudge nudge wink wink to make battery replacement a thing of the past. If your battery goes tits up now then effectively so does your phone. My galaxy note 3 lasted just shy of 5 years with a few cell replacements and that does not bode well for the big boys.Sim only is were the value lies for Joe Soap and whether that's by holding onto our wishing bones for longer or creating a fine balance between needs and wants by purchasing a replacement then so be it.I just bought into the Moto 6 dream with 64 gig of memory and 4 gig of juicy ram.The phone makes me grin and was only £240.It did come down to £200 on Amazonian prime day but I sadly missed out on that deal.Anyway I am rambling and as I don't need as much data nowadays this current plan serves me well.

Three network 8 gig of data all inclusive minutes and all inclusive texts and tethering for only £10 a month. The 16 gig deal mentioned above by Mr Blue @£16 reeks of value. The futures bright.
