English clubs make bids for Kjaer
Palermo are claiming that two Premier League clubs have made offers for their highly-rated Denmark international defender Simon Kjaer.

We're getting to the business end of the window now, so lets hope some of these rumours transform into signings.
As far as Kjaer is concerned, mancini alreasy said he wasnt interested and the player said he doesnt want to move in january.

Kjaer is one of the best young CBs in Calcio; if we bring him to City, he will be a first team regular. Either Toure or Lescott will have to be on the bench! (I don't think Mancini will risk doing this or have them "compete" for first team spots!!; as for sure he value both Toure & Lescott and see them as being irreplaceable - i.e. they already have English league experience)
As a CB cover/substitutes; we already have Kompany, Onuha (returned recently from injury), Richards & Boyata. They are doing fine so far; and we can wait for our regular's return!
Maybe this is why Mancini has dismissed the need for a new regular CB....

Simon Kjær said at 1.11 and 1.43. Guess you could compare it to a very short, badly pronounced version of "care"...
He would be a nice addition to our squad. Very, very talented. He has had a fantastic spell in Italy. Many people said that it would be bad to leave FC Midtjylland since he had only played a few matches with the first team there, but he has been an instant success at Palermo - and also with the Danish national team.
Looks like the Spuds are in pole position to sign him now. Would be a shame, we've been trailing Kjaer since Hughes was here and he looks like a defensive kingpin in the making. Would personally get rid of Toure to make room for Kjaer.
