Simple question, are you walking out during West Brom? YES or NO?

Are you going to walk out during West Brom game in protest at ticket prices?

Fact. Maybe they can all meet up for protest songs and Bournemouth, somehow I doubt it.

Some real cretinous comments you're coming out with here mate. Will all the corporate jollies that will be in the allocation at Bournemouth get your seal of approval?

I have 14.5k loyalty points, wasn't enough to qualify for Bournemouth, is it enough to qualify me for a right to protest ticket prices at City? Or do only the blues in the top 1k of loyalty points, or with connections through supporters clubs, have that right?

Didn't know being a nodding dog is what makes a true blue.

Feel free to walk out any time, but don't object to me objecting about fans who have only just got a season ticket complaining about the atmosphere (i.e. other fans) and trying to arrange walk outs feeling they are in some way moral leaders. A walk out against West Brom will do nothing, and lacks any imagination. Newcastle last season, Liverpool this season, already been done.

Who are these new season ticket holders complaining about the atmosphere believing they're moral leaders trying to arrange a walkout? Name names.

Just sounds a lot like a strawman to me. Feeble attempt to discredit other blues, blues who are ultimately looking out for your interests.

Anyway, I don't object to you objecting, I object to you making pathetic insinuations that anyone who's in support of a walkout must be a lesser blue, or a bandwagon blue altogether.

You know that's not true, you're just trying to shame other blues into being in opposition to a protest. Why?

Newcastle's walkout didn't achieve anything, because it had an unrealistic goal. They were never going to get rid of Ashley.

Liverpool's walkout had a realistic goal, to stop ticket price increases, and achieved that goal. And, what's more, their protest proved pivotal in the PL introducing the £30 away cap.

You're kidding yourself with that one.

No, I think you are mate.

Prior to that protest at Anfield the PL encountered real opposition to that away cap from several PL clubs, it was the national debate that the protest at Anfield provoked, and the pressure that came with it, that proved key in making it a reality.

I can't see that the clubs agreed too soon after the walkout for that to be a factor, It was the resolution of a long campaign that got that result. That's why I think we should be looking at a campaign with stated long term aims, and not protesting over PSG.

I don't agree re the Anfield protest, I think that proved a turning point. It ruffled a lot of feathers, particularly that there was a risk of further walkouts being replicated across the league. I think it proved very important in ending that stalemate of negotiations among PL clubs.

That said, you're right to point out that it was the longterm campaign which was central to it.

At least this is something we're all now talking about here at City at least, with a real appetite to do something if it continues. That's a great start.

We might not all agree on what to do at present, but at least we're al talking about it, and the vast majority are recognising it as an issue. That's an important first step.
