Simple question, are you walking out during West Brom? YES or NO?

Are you going to walk out during West Brom game in protest at ticket prices?

Sound points, but specifically though mate, what would it take for you to decide you wanted to take part?

Whether that was staying in the concourse for the first 10 minutes with protest banners left on the seats (like Bayern fans did at the Emirates), or getting up and joining a walkout with more than 10 minutes normal time remaining?

I accept that you don't believe it's the right course now, but what would change that? Another increase in season ticket renewals announced before the end of the season?

Another increase in a year? Or the year after that?

That's what I worry about, by the time enough blues come around to the idea of taking action it might be like trying to turn around an ocean liner - the damage done.

I'm reserving judgement of the club, our owners and the execs until the season ticket prices are issued. A couple of CL cup games for which the tickets have been priced at more or less the same as every other club in the CL, is not enough to make me turn against the club in the way that some on here seem to have done.

As 1894 have organised a protest, I don't see why other protests just need to be discussed now, just get behind the one planned or else it'll end up like monty Python scetch with splitters everywhere.
What if I don't believe their form of protest is the most suitable at this time (I'm not saying I do or don't, but why should anyone assume that's what the majority want when they haven't been asked - Yes I agree that this leaves me open to a reply "what says a BM poll represents all City fans - I agree, it won't - my point is a straight yes or no doesn't actually reflect how we/a majority of any forum of fans (online or offline) feel)
I need to stop using brackets... :)

That's the thing the mate, you're treating this as if it's a knee jerk reaction to an isolated incident.

This is a much broader trend at City, and this game has represented a wake up call for a lot of people who were in denial as to where we were headed. The club statement to the discontent capturing it in microcosm.

No one has turned on the club, a lot of blues are very angry with the likes of Soriano however, and rightly so.

We don't have to agree with you RDOG. you can't speak for 'a lot of blues'. I repeat, I'll make MY decision based on the season ticket prices - not on your lectures. And whilst we are talking, I don't think fans are 'angry' with Soriano.....although I accept that you are clearly furious with everyone at the club

I don't think these polls give enough indication of what fans at the actual match want. The poll that started this thread had about 300 replies, which isn't a very big pool and if you have 4 or 5 options it,s not going to give a clear pointer, that's if the respondents are even attending the game.

I'm not saying you have to agree, what the fuck are you on about?

I don't speak for anyone, the same way you don't, I know a lot of blues are angry with Soriano, and this wider trend at City, because I've read their fucking comments over the hundreds of pages discussing this very topic over the past week. It's an observation.

Make your own personal decision, no one is giving you lectures.

The only people getting uppity and preachy are those who are vehemently opposed to a protest, as you've just demonstrated.

That's a fair comment, and as 1894 have actually done something, I'm in agreement that we should support it, although personally I'd prefer something more inclusive.

You've read a few comments on this forum which a few fans contribute to. Even Ric doesn't claim that it represents the general view of the fans.
