Moomba i know ya been a blue a long time mate, but mr sheik who's made fcuking billions making the right choices will get it right mate, he's only been here 2 mins!

I think you mean "who was born on a great fuckload of oil". Not knocking the sheikh or anything, but he's only rich because his family struck oil, not because he's some great business genius.

And we'd better fucking hope he runs businesses better than his colleagues at DIC or we'll be winning cups for cock ups for years to come...

Yeah your right if only he hadnt made 20 billion himself through business deals, he may of got a head start but any man that makes 3 billion dollars off 1 deal in 6 months is a clever man

why the fuck would someone not trust the owners ffs

buying robinho was not a good move for the club. good for publicity but bad for both the managers and the development of the team. gave us a reputation for being enamoured with stars rather than winning.

kaka would have been more of the same.

and after two years.... the managerial situation is not one bit clearer.

I trust that they have money, and that it's benefiting us. The club has also gone forward off the pitch. but the real question is are we going to be a proper sporting club, with an ethos of our own. that takes time and stability, and no star signings. their record in both areas, as I've pointed out, is not exactly spotless. this summer will be decisive IMO.

Lets be honest with the Robinho deal who would know he could actually be such a huge fuck nut that when we got rid of him everyone was actually happy with us rather than saying we told you so!!

A new low for Bluemoon.

Care to explain oh gracious one? simple question, if you had taken the time to red BMC'S thread you may understand the maeaning of this thread!

My comment was a bit of a facepalm comment, I should have elaborated, my apologies.

I've read the thread, try to stay away from threads like that because they are 50% horse shit, and 50% good discussion on both sides of the argument.

I've probably just taken it out on you, your thread is smaller :)

I just find it absolutely flabbergasting how any City fan, who has been going for more than 10 years, can have any doubt whatsoever regarding our Owners.

I absolutely mean this - there is not a football club in the world who would not want to be owned by Sheikh Mansour. Not just for the finance, but for the willingness to take a step back from the limelight, and not screw the club by any means possible. Glazier, Hicks, Gillet et al.

Where did I suggest that he only owns oil interests? I said he wouldn't be rich without the oil. Not the same thing.

Yes he did do well out of the Barclays deal, you are right. Still doesn't make him a great business brain. And the management of City so far has been patchy - at best.

I know Abu Dhabi and Dubai are not the same place, but the DIC precedent really does worry me, I must say.

Thats why I said that I had faith that we will get it right eventually.

But it doesn't make him or his representatives immune to bad decisions, and I'm sure there are plenty of examples in his own business history of that.

Some long serving City fans [like you and me] are not immune to bad posts.

Fixer makes an excellent point at possibly the lowest ebb for BM, when players are using others to attempt to influence the views of us, the paying punters and soul of the club. TBH it's a fucking disgrace.

He really is a great business brain though, he has made 20 billion of his own money from business deals and investments, not with ADUG on his OWN!!

DIC made stupid fucking buys with nothing to back them up, i Abu Dhabi were as retarded as Dubai and spunked a load of money on stuff they could back it up with there oil but all this would still not affect our owner who has 20 Billlon personal wealth, the wealth he funds us with. I suggest you red up on his not so great business brain!!!
