Siouxsie & The Banshees thread

Thanks from me also. Just found that I get BBC4 on my iptv.
Been watching “Fanny. The right to rock” while I’m waiting.
Do they usually show a lot of music?
BBC 4 particularly at weekends, and Sky arts both show a lot of music documentaries/compilations/archive stuff. Generally on a theme each night ie tonight is women in rock. Can be quite diverse but do stray from mainstream ie punk, ska, metal, hip hop, brit pop etc (not all in one night I might add !).
Worth keeping an eye out.

Cheers mate. I’m watching that now. just had Tina Weymouth and now Siouxsie.

I was a bit late getting into their music - it wasn’t until this song was all over MTV in 91 I think that I got hooked. Budgie had a great drum sound and was never rated as high as he should’ve been.

Bloody hell cut off as Eve White / Eve Black started.
That was brilliant. The Banshees at their peak and my fave line up.
Budgie and McGeogh just unbelievable. Almost finished the authorised biography of McGeogh. A brilliant guitarist.
The Banshees were my 2nd band after Generation X - I never got to see Gen X as they'd split up but I followed the Banshees around all over the country.
Then a 4 member beat combo from south Manchester entered my life and I still followed The Banshees but they were number 2 in my heart

Where do The Creatures feature in your all time faves? ( if at all)
Can still remember "Mad eyed screamer "for the 1st time on TOTP
and just watching transfixed as this brilliant unique unconventional sound filled the living room.
A real moment in time!
Not so keen on "Right Now"
