Sir Keir Starmer

I find this sort of argument so bad faith, around 25-30% of total emissions emit 1% or less. If every "small" country stopped trying, a third of the world's emissions would go unchecked.

So yeah the UK on it's own is a small factor, but when you have groups of countries in a similar boat it becomes larger.
That's a very big IF.

Once again we are in the position of the person in charge more bothered about keeping his job than actually doing his job.

Keith campaigned on Tory sleaze and chaos, and has brought even more sleaze himself.
Rayner is just as bad.
"Oh I didn't know I hadn't paid enough tax..."
You're deputy leader of the Labour Party love, you should.

We're on a knife edge with our energy supply relying on the goodwill of Norway and France to sell us our shortfall which is in part due to the reliance on wind power.
Probably the most delusional post I've read on BM and there's plenty to choose from.
Have a read of this, should help to plug the shortfall, create jobs and contribute to the economy. However those on here who still wear tall hats with a buckle will find something to moan about.

Apparantly Starmer is threatening the nuclear option and there will be an election if he is deposed...

All over the mediah from political journos.

Really though? I thought the King could ask someone with enough support in the house of commons to form a government before allowing an election...

Why would we do that when wind is cheaper and quicker? Yeah it has the net zero benefit but it’s also just the best form of energy investment we have right now.

On top of that they’re still allowing more drilling in the existing fields, massively expanded gas power stations and reopened negotiations with centrica to increase our storage capacity - the biggest factor in cost to the consumer.

The only people who don’t think Miliband is doing a good job on energy are Reform and GBnews lot who can’t see past net zero.
And produces the most expensive energy of all forms. The deal he recently signed on Wind Farms makes nonsense of his claims to bring energy costs down. I'm not sure what the relevance of bringing R &GB news into the discussion.
His policy on Heat Pumps also shows what an uninformed idiot he is.

And when the wind doesn't blow?

And don't get me started with the financial position of wind farm and battery storage energy projects.

They're all sub companies that are given money to build and supply to one supplier. And if they go wrong? Fire etc etc. Guess what the company goes bust and no body picks up the clean up bill.

It's a fucking disaster just waiting to happen.

Yeah but companies that use a lot of energy are going under because of the cost of energy.
Losing jobs in chemical, refining and metal refining and finishing businesses is a terrible blow to the countries tax bill, GDP and infrastructure.
