Think of the 6N and tell me who doesn't raise their game against England?
While you engage brain, please tell everyone why Ireland were so poor against everyone else.

Everyone raises their games against the better teams. Ireland, Wales, France and England.
If you ask who the best team is in the 6 Nations are the answer is usually France for the majority of people and then the rest of the answers vary.
Nobody lifts their game more for England than they would for France or like the other teams would for Ireland.
It's about beating all the teams in the championship.
It was an incredibly poor championship and with the absolute slatting Ireland have been getting in the media they were under an entire world of pressure to up their game.
It just happened to England were our last game. It finally clicked, sadly it was the last game, but it will be good to bring into pre world cup.

Don't mistake a dislike of England as a reflection on their ability as a team.
The idea of the 6 Nations is that you beat everybody and win the GS.
The top teams want to beat everybody, they want to win it, win the grand slam, not win it by default. All right ya, the weaker teams want to have a go at the top teams.
France hate England, Wales apparently, hate Ireland..etc. and so the list goes on.
The weaker teams give it 100% against the top teams, while the top teams, in a way take it easy against the weaker teams. Nothing special there.
But don't flatter yourself, Wales don't go out against Ireland and give 70% and then go out against England and give 100%

Almost every I know can't really call it the answers usually ''if they show up then France' but a team that's as inconsistent as they are can't really be held up as the best.
The 3 SH teams are the best in the world and you'd expect them all to be in the semi's of the world cup. The draw's worked quite nicely for England though so I think we end up facing the Aussies in the semi all going to plan and we've got a good recent record against them so I wouldn't bet against England being in the final...
