Think wht he is trying to say is was Borini in an active offside position when Skrtel heads the ball, not when the corner is taken.

It might have been considered offside 10 years ago, but the offside laws have changed since then.

You cannot be offside if you receive the ball directly from a corner but Borini could have been offside when Skrtel headed it but unless he tries to make contact with the ball the officials don't seem to bother nowadays about where the player is stood.
