How long until PEG starts talking like Wenger and claiming that 2nd, 3rd and 4th are "trophies" because they mean ECL qualification.Enjoyed him pointing that out. You can't expect people in the media to pick up on the ways Ederson is brilliant. Remember they approach it from the completely wrong direction, running out of your area is a bad risk, pushing a save towards your player instead of out of play is a risk, chipping the striker with a 20 yard pass or playing a ball across your goal is a sin.
It's actually not that dissimilar from how people talked about DDG early on, he got slagged off a lot for using his feet to save as it's not traditional technique - and now they faun over it.
Just wait for Ederson to make a few big saves in big games and he'll get his due praise. And then as time passes the rest of his game will filter through.
