Sky Sports Deals

I have today handed in my Sky tv and internet notice - all done from Jan 7th.

I'm feeling pretty good that I will be no longer funding that output............... :-)
I binned them off recently, don’t miss them at all. I changed internet from them ages ago but they very graciously let you keep using the email addresses which saves a lot of faffing and I’m not too proud to be at sky.com

If you have no interest in subscribing to Sky please just move on and don't derail the thread.
For anyone interested in taking out a sky subscription I recommend ringing them. I have streamed all football over the last seven years or so from the people who started as livefootyonline and changed their name to newssource, but they now seem to have disappeared. So sky advertise that you can get their best deals online and make it harder to speak to an agent. Their best deal online for the complete sports package in HD is £25 a month. I rang them to see if they could better this and they came back with £22. I told him that was still too much so he did some juggling with the figures on my existing package and came back with the same package I have now plus the complete sky sports pack in HD for an extra £7 a month. Well worth a 10 minute free phone call.
How much in total is your monthly bill ?

Sky Q, HD/UHD, multi room, Sky Sport, BT Sport & Netflix is £80.45. Renegotiated last month.

£20 a week is decent value I reckon.

Anybody know if it’s worth ringing sky to upgrade the sky Q box to a UHD one I have one of the first sky q boxes that are HD only, heard that they charge to upgrade the box ..
