Sky TV Going Up To £107 a month for multiroom.****Update***** Page 6.

But I don't think buying an IPTV sub really counts as a protest against that.
A protest would be refusing to pay Sky, BT or whoever's subscription fees.

Resorting to an illegal stream is exactly that - operating on the wrong side of the law.

I realise I'm in a minority these days, but if I want something, I'll pay the legal means to get it.
If I think it's too much, I won't pay it - e.g. I didn't bother paying the BT monthly fee until the CL QFs, then I get 4 City matches for £25, not bad. However, I ain't lining Sky and BT's pockets paying every month for loads of stuff I don't want.

Just barter with them. Every time my contract ends, I always manage to negotiate a new deal that is around half-price. You won't get offered that at first so you need to tell them you want to cancel, and then they normally come back with a better offer. If it's still more than half-price then hold firm and they should revert back with something even better. I could probably squeeze even more out of them if I allowed it get to the date where they turn it off but I like to get it sorted before then.

If it's just the sport that you are after then you can get a NowTV monthly pass for £25
I only need it for City’s away games and it seems we only have 3 aways on Sky this side of Christmas due to the World Cup; Newcastle, Villa and Dippers. Cheaper to buy 3 day passes at £12 ea but the first two games will be within a 1 month period so will probably do it that way.
