Sleep

Personally, I prefer to drink melatonin and then I have a deep sleep. I used to try to walk in the evening but I don’t always want to leave the house.
 
I’ll suffer in silence then.
Had enough trouble getting off tramadol for a lifetime.
There are other options...or so I'm told.

Do you get any IBS like symptoms? I was sure I had RLS but now I'm not so sure. I read that there was a variant of IBS that causes anxiety, and on impulse, I checked my stomach muscles in the middle of the night and the morning. They were rock solid. Like bone. I massage them gently every day now,, also took some advice off the how to sit when you have a poo thread, and things are a bit better. I still get crazy mental stuff as I fall asleep, and usually find myself wide awake just as I drop off, but it's a lot less uncomfortable.
 
I sleep 4-6 hrs a night with the average about 5 and a qurter mostly, if I sleep any more I feel knackered/letgargic the rest of the day.

But those 4-6 hrs are a nice deep sleep, I don't have many restless nights.
 
Have you looked at your blood sugar level? If you eat a wedge of sugar a day that could be an issue, especially if eating sugary/carby food in the evening.


And the amount of caffeine if you're in a vicious cycle of not getting enough sleep and so drinking coffee/tea throughout the day, possibly with a spoonful(s) of sugar in too.
 
Not slept properly for past few weeks due to back/sciatica problems, so last night I took a few night nurse, they proper knock me out, had a good 8 hours last night, although the side effects is i feel a little bit rough as I normally do when I take them but my body feels a bit more rested. Hopefully getting some decency CBD oil in next few weeks to try.
 
Yes but who wants to sleep stood up!!
You don’t have to worry about a bad pillow or making your bed then, just stay by the front door fully dressed and you’re away in the morning!
 
I’ve probably had about 5-6 really decent and restful sleeps in the past 15 years, the best thing I ever took though was the original GABA ( Gamma-aminobutyric acid) you could get (before they removed it from the shelves) , that was brilliant stuff.

Worst thing I’ve found is caffeine, think I’m, like many, just very sensitive to it, sleep better if I stop all intake around 1pm.
