What's embarrassing is a whole nation bullying a 21 year old.
 
I think we are on the right track just missing the final pieces personally, if we can dominate possession(it was all in their half pretty much too) and have the end product, stretching defenses and getting behind them everything looks much different. We've defended very well, hunting the ball down very sharpish when we lose it... weren't Wales were saying they would look to control possession the way they play and look how that panned out. I never expected us to win this tournament but I'm glad to see us actually trying to break teams down(need more ideas from Hodgson there) the proper way rather than resorting to long balls and freekicks after half an hour and deciding they can't break them down.

Can't believe Woy left Henderson on and took of Lallana. He's the type of player that
could've done something.

The 1966 and 1970 lot were pretty good too. From the noughties on we have performed almost entirely gash with the players we have had. This team is average but at least the effort and the way they are trying to play is less depressing

You're probably right boss, but when you have chances against a team who setup for a 0-0 draw and don't go forward you have to take them and we didn't sadly :(
