He's hardly amongst the slowest we've ever seen. Add that to the fact that he can only be referred to as slow towards the end of his career, whilst many of the other players mentioned in this thread were slower even at the height of their careers. Vieira in his pomp was very, very fast.

But I agree that the likes of Moulden and Clough were immobile in their prime.
