Smashing Things Up In France

Tbf at this stage all the people with something to protest about have gone home and the ones still at it are the ones that get a kick out of putting some poor fucker out of a home by smashing his business beyond his ability to repair.
If there's a sound structure in place that preserves the right to protest then protests should be sanctioned, not just a bunch of drugged up nutters seeing how many small shops and cafes they can smash up and rob before the army get sent out to put manners on them.
And by the way, I wrote that post as a veteran of many legitimate protests and marches that's aware of what kind of wanker attaches themselves to them to cause trouble.

It's spreading to the fatherland mate, people in the EU aren't happy, something is on the change I suspect.

Yeah, a small, vocal and violent minority. The same twats that got a balloon of the London Mayor and were giving interviews about how he was oppressing them by not letting them fly it, even though he had let them fly it. Desperate to paint themselves as oppressed and disappointed when they're not given grounds to do so.
Constantly actually denying the people with legitimate grievances a voice by jumping into demonstrations with bricks in hand to smash windows. Great lads tbf. There's a protest on in Paris about fuel taxes? Let's smash up a load of small businesses and assault the owners.

The balloon thing was a response to the Trump balloon thing, shows the shit place we are politically not just here but in Europe.

Globalisation and automatisation mostly affects the poor and they are by far the majority protesting here. Thing is, the stark gap between rich and poor is rising about everywhere, and so the poor have similar grievances in about every western nation.

France is not shooting it's protesters, to some degree there is riot controll and to another degree there is a willingness to listen and to adress it seems. i mean Kudos to the resilience of French democracy. Afterall some protests and perhaps even minor riots arn't all that bad for a democracy, keeps the politicians on their toes. Better that the people have some outlet by which they can call reform than that it would be stamped into the ground.

It was an attempt to show that Khan would allow a balloon taking the piss out of Trump but not one taking the piss out of him, despite his statement that he'd allow anything that didn't break safety regs. The people behind it were so convinced he wouldn't allow it that even when he did they gave their big speech about Khan censoring them on live TV and made fools of themselves. Rebels without a cause and without a brain between them.

The people protesting in France went home 3 or 4 weeks ago.
