I am an ardent none smoker. Lung cancer took my mother from me when I was 14 and she was only 40, which is no age.
I hate it in abundence and I hate having to go for a lag at half time as i have to breath in the smoke.
However , whoever made up the rules on stopping smoking in public places conveniently overlooked the fact that smoking is an addiction that people can not just give up.
To make a blanket ban on it is ridiculous as you can all see it doesnt work.
The smokers want to smoke in peace and harmony - the pissers want to piss in peace and harmony .
why cant the club open up some of the gates next to the curly wurly entrances and cordon them off on the other side so if smokers want to go out and do it , then they can without any of the animosity that comes out on match days.
problem solved.
