Snooker

What has he done?
For the whole 17 days I haven’t once seen him acknowledge a good shot from any of his opponents, and when he didn’t put his hand up for that fluked black a couple of frames ago that took the biscuit. Proper slapped arse face (and a Chelsea fan!)

That’s the tension and stress he is under. He’s a lovely bloke and you’ll hear that in his interview coming up. Pleased for him.deserved winner. Well done to Jak Jones though- what a tournament he had.

He hasnt acknowledged a single good shot from an opponent all tournament. I shan’t be watching his interview as I’m getting the popcorn for ten bob’s (but it’s easy to be gracious when youve just won)

Some will defend his rudeness I am sure mate.

It’s a strange hang up you’ve based his whole personality on the fact he didn’t acknowledge a few shots, I doubt Jak Jones even noticed - he’s a lovely bloke, can tell that by hearing his interviews over the years. Glad he finally won this. He’s been up there with the best for many years now. Enjoy your pint of bitter.

Guess you missed this sportsmanship the other day then. He’s also called foul on himself many times over the years.

Seems pretty well liked behind the scenes.

Was always likely to win having gone 7-0 up.

As mentioned earlier was at Crucible for afternoon session and contrary to opinion I saw Kyren Wilson on at least 2 occasions tap the table with his hand to acknowledge shots from Jones, unfortunately was unable to watch anything of it tonight because my lad was officiating, got home as trophy being lifted.
Pretty sure not missed anything else tonight ha ha.

Lots of random missed shots interspersed with some great pots.

I saw him flick a bit of dust off the table and it floated towards Jak Jones, always thought he was ok before but not now, total ****!

I am a big fan of snooker and the world championship, Some amazing snooker has been played there over the years, With great matches drama and talent on show, But this year's championship has been below-par and very much a hard watch at times, Ronnie, Trump, all having a struggle and the 100 breaks have been below average,

With tightening of the pockets and corners pockets playing hard to pot along the cushions for this tournament definitely made for a harder tournament for the players but fair for the lower rank players to stay in the game with the big scorers struggling

Maybe a year for the purist fans of the game, But I love Big breaks and one-visits to win the frames

Each to their own but I hate games that are all one visit frames. It was still available to them this championship but it took great cueing and control to do it, it properly tested the whole game and I really liked that. Safety battles are what proper snookers all about :)

one table visits are boring, I prefer it when a games on a knife edge, players missing easy shots, playing ridiculous snookers and opponents getting out of them etc.
