So do the Arsenal fans get away with their behaviour then?

You and most blues would have done the same had it been Dunne. Ade was out of line for doing that, I thought that half way through his run.

Wrong.
I have seen far too many former City players score against us and have never stormed the fence, slapped a steward or chucked ten bob bits at them.

Absolutely. The pictures in the Sundays show the venom, and it simply matches the venom spewing out of the Emirates since he left. Would anyone on the planet, stay at a place where the fans, of terribly short memory, revile their man and hurl all shades of abuse. This started yesterday the second he walked onto the pitch for a warm up. Morons, get back to Bedlam.

Why not?Because our fans didn't react the way that aresnholes did?
Dickov,Rooney...there's loads of twttish players who've ran to our fans and give it the big one after scoring....I don't remember anyone running from ten rows back to throw stuff at them?
The arse fans were a disgrace yesterday-they spent more time shouting abuse at Ade than they did backing their own team...they revved themsleves into a pathetic, foaming frenzy. That behaviour was as much about not them being able to cope with the fact that their team got whupped as it was about Ade.Bad losers-they really can't handle ickkle City beating them-it brings home the reality that they are no longer "the invincibles."

Still- at least they mad a noise for once.

Come on mate. As you have said you have seen Dickov, Rooney etc do it on several occasions. How many times have you seen a player run the full length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the opposition fans - i can't recall any. So thats why it isnt comparable.

I'm not excusing the arsenal fans in any way. I am not saying the fa need to take any further action or anything. All i am saying is ade celebration deserved a yellow. end of the matter.

Henry done it at Highbury against Spurs I seem to remember. He ran to them and slid on his knees.

Slightly different but Lee Hendrie done it for Villa at Highbury. He scored at the clock end and ran to the Villa fans the opposite side of the pitch and slid right up to them. There is no excuse whatsoever for the way the Arsenal fans reacted. They are just very very sore losers.

That's a good point about dickov and rooney actually. Also, Rooney did his 'cupped ears' celebration to the kop when he scored at anfield and the scousers didn't riot.

(although I hear they had a memorial built)
fuckin brilliant last line hehe

Ian Watmore, Chief Executive of The FA

"On 18 February 2009, he was confirmed as the new Chief Executive of The Football Association, succeeding Brian Barwick. He will start the job in June 2009. He is a known supporter of Arsenal F.C.[4][5]"

The source is Wikipedia, so potentially dodgy but if it's true we're screwed.

Well there you go, there is a precedent. He should receive the same treatment as Henry did ie none (or yellow if he got that)

Hendrie incident is totally different

What is Adebayor supposed to do if he scores at the Emirates. If the rest of the Arsenal fans are anything like the ones we had the displeasure of seeing on Saturday then there is no doubt that the whole stadium will erupt into a riot and adebayor will be blamed once again. If fans take the game that seriously and can't even control themselves when a player scores and celebrates in front of them, they shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the stadium.

I didn't see any City fans throwing food coins etc at Rooney when he celebrated his goal in front of us last year in the derby at COMS.

Someone on here said that SSN reported David Gill is going to be looking into it as well.

So there you go then. Not even an appearance of interest in an outcome *cough*.
