So do you believe yet?

No, not yet
But every time I have started to believe in City they have let me down, so prefer to play down our chances, but there is still everything to play for, and if we are still in touching distance at easter then maybe I will start to believe.

For me United are the big danger but they have certainly got away with it this season with pretty poor form at times.

Where many people assume that United will soon click and go on to win the title I think the opposite could well happen.

They are the draw specialists and I get a sneaky feeling that they may go off the rails and drop points sooner rather than later, that will offer us the psychological advantage for the run-in.

The postponed United v Chelsea game will result in a Chelsea win IMO and the points they expect to get from Blackpool are not a given either.

The derby could very well be the championship decider but I see City being 4 pints clear by then.

Believe ;-)

An outside chance, we shouldn`t under-estimate how much experience at the business end of the season will count for, Mancini has it and a few of the players, hopefully this will be enough to push the others on.

I think a lot of the players have the requisite experience. Silva has won the World Cup and the Euros. Tevez has won just about everything there is to win save the World Cup. Balotelli has won titles. Viera. Yaya. There's enough experience there winning things. But I guess there is still the issue of the team knowing they can do it together and the fact they are at a club that has been waiting for a long time.

What makes me so excited is that we are going to be firmly in the race. I don't see anything knocking us out of contention until the bitter end this time around. We can win this thing.

One thing that troubles me is we have to play away to Man Utd., Arsenal and Chelsea. In a way though this may be a good thing. Sometimes teams that are trying to get over a big mental hurdle are better off having to do it on the road. Also, United have to play at Tottenham, at Arsenal and still have to play Chelsea twice. Could easily see this coming down to the final week and there might even be three teams up there at the end of it all instead of just two.

Still more worried about us finishing 4th than winning the league, the top 5 is incredibly tight if Spuds win their games in hands.

Don't forget, even if everyone wins their games in hand, we're still 3rd. However, it's impossible for everyone to win their games in hand because one of them is Chelsea v United.

The biggest issue will be us going away to The Swamp, Chelsea and Arsenal and what we achieve at those places.

For me to believe we would have to sign the kind of player that could get us to gel into the kind of team that can knock out 5-6 wins on the bounce

Theres only a handful of players around that could do that for me - Schweinsteiger, Schneider, Xavi maybe Essien

Buy one of them, and I believe

When we go to Arsenal we may well have Dzeko available to push into the weak Arsenal defence.

If ever a player could put a team firmly on the front foot (and opposition on the back foot) it is Dzeko.

3 points against Arsenal will go a long way to convincing some doubters I think.

TBH, I just don't wanna tempt fate with a prediction and I think a few on here would share those sentiments! I still think the title will be between Utd, Chelsea & Spurs, but our chances depend on our continued development as a squad as the season progresses.

I think our squad is as strong as anyones, but our main challengers know that they have the advantage of having experienced & settled squads who know each other and the Premier League well, whereby we're still discovering ourselves.

For me it's a no-brainer; we should just go all out for the top because we have nothing to lose & everything to gain. We're doing well at the moment and the aquisition Dzeko would be great and give us a missing dimension, but I feel that we are still lacking in both full back positions, as no player has fully convinced me this season so far and this is the main weakness in our squad as I see it.

I feel like we're 2nd in a marathon race and our shoe-laces have come undone. It'd be great if we could pause the race whilst we sort ourselves out, but if we stopped running the rest would just disappear into the distance. We could leave our laces undone and run the risk of tripping up over them, or just carry on and take our chances, because maybe, just maybe it'll all come good come the business end of the season.

We have to believe, we have a team and manager that does so we have to. Think we knew Chelsea would win sooner or later as last night proved, but once again Arsenal dropped points you wouldn't have expected, Utd the other night, all well and good having 3 games in hand but they are not points in hand. Utdcould lose at Chelsea and Blackpool away will not be easy and all of a sudden its wide open. Hopefully Utd end up playing Chelsea while the Blues are on a good run.
