Has he gone? Good luck to the lad. A poor signing but that's not his fault. He kept his head down and didn't moan despite not getting games.

I concur Dave, he was a very poor signing and it wasn't his fault - but let's face it... if you were on a three year 60K+ per week contract, would you moan?

In the short time he was on the pitch, he looked no better than a sprinter with football boots on. I felt embarrassed for him.

On 60 grand a week yet after giving it a full season trying to break into the side he's now actively looking to move on for first team football. Good on the lad I say. I'm embarrassed for the money-grabbing twats who are happy to sit on their arses for their fortunes not for the likes of Sinclair.

Good luck to him, but it was always very obviously a terrible signing and a complete and utter waste of time and effort. Awful, awful player

I think we stem the course of his development imho... Should have gone to a team like the scoucers where he would get to play more regularly....
he couldn't do worse than downing.

Albeit temporarily.

You were indeed one of the worst players I've seen in a City shirt for some time.

The original 'no trick donkey'... Your (ex) bird was the only interesting thing about you.

Good luck at WBA.

Bit harsh really, he was a better player at Swansea. Probably just lacking on confidence.

No wonder, Mancini says he's great in training then match day at home 2 or 3 up with 20 to go, to save legs Mancini calls for a sub to come on who ends up playing on the left in front of Clichy. Does he shout for Scott , nothing to lose because the game is ours. No, f**kin Kolorov piles on. That would ruin anybody's confidence.
I reckon he was just a pawn in the Mancini/Marwood power battle . Still don't know to this day whether he's good or not. Shame really. Hope he does well at WBA.

We have a new manager that is willing to let him go, if he was able to get into our team somebody might have spotted it by now. Not the worst player at City but did nothing whatsoever when he did come on and I'm glad he's gone. Hope it works out for him elsewhere.

Bought him and never played him. Not his fault. If its anyone's fault it's whoever sanctioned the move not sinclairs. What's he meant to say, that he doesn't think he's good enough so has to turn down the opportunity of testing himself along with getting a better wage. Imagine if he said he would rather stay at Swansea when we were trying to buy him.

Sinclair carried himself with dignity and respect (no complaints, or sneaky hint of discontent to the media) in a very unfavorable and i have to say ignominious circumstances, But he kept on going, with his head held high and worked very hard.

Top lad and I wish him all the best and I am sure he will show the masses what a good player he actually is in a club like West Brom.

I want to add that I completely agree with the above poster.

Very harsh. Not even in the top 50 worst we've had in the last 15 years.

Nowhere near good enough for a top side and whoever checked him out before signing him should be put down.
But it's not his fault we were willing to splash the cash is it?
He forced a couple of good saves in his odd substitute appearances but never looked like staking a claim for a regular start. He was a winger and Mancini doesn't like wingers even though AJ (who never had a good game against a decent team) scored some crackers against the bus parkers when we won the league.
But what about when he came on against Barnsley in the cup? Even against a struggling second tier side he hardly looked the part. I think he got about half an hour and did bugger all. OK, part of that could be because we were five up and the rest had gone into neutral, but he should have stood out against Barnsley.
As for his hat-trick in the play-offs, I think you'll find that's about twenty teams below our position these days.
