So, on Wednesday.....

To be fair to Shafter, a decent Stoke fan who has always posted reasonably on here, I hope we will dry bum them 6-0 but Stoke is never an easy place to go to and all due respect to them for making it that way.

We are at home.

Personally I think the way we play suits us better against more physical sides like Stoke.

From the evidence of the Cup Final and the game after I would say 2-0/3-0

The away game may be a different matter though!

6-1, We're gonna win 6-1.

I don't want us to beat anyone else 6-1 this season, unless it's the rags by a higher score,

The reason being I want the record books to show;

Highest score during City's premiership winning season was the 6-1 defeat of the rags!

I think a lot will depend on how Pulis approaches the match. He may write it off and concentrate on the two home games v Villa and Wigan over Christmas. But having said that they've won their last two aways.

Think about it. Unbeaten at home all year, only one game to go, against the perenniel party poopers. What could go wrong......

I'd expect to see a bit of squad rotation on Wednesday. Yaya has been immense recently but could use a rest, so I'd like to see Milner in there. De Jong for Barry? Johnson for Silva? Dzeko for Aguero? We have lots of games coming up and it's important we don't tire the players out. So 2-0 City.

Me Too.

I reckon Johnson/Milner/DeJong/Lescott/Clichy and Dzeko will be in.

Hart, Richards, Kompany,Lescott, Clichy, De Jong, Yaya,Milner Johnson, Dzeko, Balotelli.

Stoke are a far tougher proposition at their own ground. The size of the pitch is far reduced, which helps their tactics, and would hinder ours, in equal measure. At our place, given our record this season, and the superiority of our squad, I'd say we'll win, lets say 2-0.
