A lot depends on the first goal and when its scored.

An early City goal and i can feel a comfy 3 - 0


A goal by Stoke and it will be tough and we might have to work our goolies off for a 2 -1.


The start is vital
 
We wont be playing our best team, so i can't see it being a thumping, especially with the form you are in. I can see Stoke getting a set-piece goal, but City winning by 2.

What is our best team ? I think we will be very strong, 4 days to the next game and every intention of prioritising the league over Christmas before the distractions of the training session on the 8th Jan to warm up for the CC semi.

4-0 for me, sounds arrogant but not meant to be, I have an admiration for Stoke since the Final and whether I like how they play or not it is effective for there targets.
 
i can see stoke resting players for this , and roberto will rotate a few of our players as well , but our 2nd eleven are capable of finishing top 4 , we will shut up shop if we get a 2 goal lead , and save our energy for the busy xmas programme , 2-0 or 3-1 will do nicely.
 
Hopefully they rest players and we rotate. They've impressed me of late Stoke. I'd defo take a scrappy 1-0 now if I could, particularly with the games we have coming up.
