Let's not have another thread running to 100s of pages about whether or not there is an agenda. An agenda does exist within the media to view certain clubs in a certain light. Our rapid progress over the past five years has upset the apple cart and the media doesn't like it as their cosy relationships are beginning to crumble. I have no doubts in my mind that in the future (although it might not be in my lifetime) the truth about corruption within the English game will come out. Things such as certain transfers for stupid amounts of money, transfers that had everyone asking why did that club sign him, brown envelopes, refs admitting that they turned a blind eye etc etc. At the moment things like missing of the club name seem petty but a lot of small things add up to one big thing. Take it from me our owners won't forget all the small things such as the snide artcicles, agents pouring poison into players ears etc and all things come home to roost eventually. We just have to bide our time, smile at people, nod and agree with them, but all the time knowing they will stick the knife in but when, not if, we dominate football we won't forget who they were. Enjoy the ride, it will be bumpy as we know, but what a ride it has already been and will continue to be.

Eds not gonna be happy!!!

Correct.

Once and for all there is a media bias towards and against clubs and there is an agenda to have football run in the way certain organisations want it. They are linked whether or not certain people on here like it or not. Interesting that people say the media have to arse lick scum as they have more fans than others i.e. it will sell more papers to cover them but there are more fans that despise them who could potentially not buy those papers / listen to the radio / buy into TV subs etc.

Now I have finally put to bed this thread can it be locked.

But you haven't "put it to bed". Where are the hard facts/examples to back up your OPINION ;-)

The bookies must be really pleased this morning because their original guess of City / Chelsea as favourites for the League with others behind has changed, probably as a result of MUFC's 'success' in USA.

Seemingly United now second favourites ahead of City which is surprising the bookies (they deal in money not agenda/ bias).

Hopefully this trend will continue and we can get a decent price on MCFC before the reality of actual results kick in.

Turned on Talksport this morning and the first thing I heard was the advert for BT promoting the new Premier League season.

It consisted of Negredo, Walcott & Sturridge goals.

I bet Chelsea & United fans are foaming at the mouth.

I'll be surprised if you can find me a single bookie that has United above City in the PL odds stakes.

The point is you are writing on a thread called agenda and using one article in the Telegraph as an example (Even though it does not criticise us) and then claiming, and I quote, 'nothing is said' in reference to Zaha. I have included one article by the Daily Mail highlighting it does get mentioned in conflict with your point.

All papers write bull shit about every club. It does not equate to an agenda.

A nice balance to the negative Rodwell reports

The PR dept earned their money with that

Shame that it's taken 18 months to find such an article, but they still can't resist a dig at the fact that no players have graduated from our academy since the takeover, albeit conveniently ignoring that we have blooded someone like Lopes, Guidetti and no doubt others that have made first team appearances. One article in one paper is no cause for celebration yet.

Stop it, Dave.

Far too positive for this thread.
