Listened to Villa game on radio and Collymore and the bloke he was working with we're devastated when Villa missed anything like a half chance.

Watched the game, in full, when I got back and have just watched MoTD and Shearer reckons City were poor, and don't really know how hard they have to work to win away. To make that sort of comment about players and a manger that have won the league twice in three years is baffling.

I can't listen to talk sport, 5 live or MoTD anymore if city have been beaten or drawn, because the level of enjoyment filtered through the commentators is irrational to the point I want to smash the TV or the car's radio up

Owen is the worst: what a weasel. My Mrs comes in and asks why I'm watching the match with the sound off, and it's because of that little cant. Saying that, Craig Burley is just as bad though.

I just don't get it? I think I might be paranoid

Mate if you don't go to the march watch the game on a foreign stream. Crowd noise and a language you don't know add up to no tosser telling you during the game that we'd fouled someone badly, the yellow was right, the refs having a great game, etc etc. As a fat unfunny Bolton guy once said 'its the way forward'.

I slipped up last night and turned the telly over to see us on MOTD so decided to watch it only to hear the usual shit. Stay clear or if you must watch on British telly at least turn the sound off at half/full time.

Anyone who doesn't think there's an orchestrated anti City agenda in all forms of the media is a cretin

Well you both should have Sky+'d Sky's coverage and watched it back today. They were full of praise for us.
That is an absurd remark, from beginning to end ratboy and his scous sidekicks were hammering us for everything and anything they could right up to and including the Yaya interview at the finish. Their disappointment with our win was etched on their sad little faces, much as it was on Shearer's. Beautiful to behold.
Codswallop!
Is that what you sing as you do little dance round the sofa to Shearer's montage of our finest moments from yesterday's match.

Bloody hell. Slagged off when we spend, slagged off when we don't. Thought Mangala was decent yesterday too.

We will see just how prophetic that article is as the season progresses but under the external contraints placed on City, they addressed some of the most obvious weaknesses in a very strong squad. Mangala and Fernando may prove to be hugely important signings. I really liked the look of the trio of Vinnie with those two as a foundTion for the full backs to go bombing on with the rest of the team.

I also thought Mangala, who I was paying particular attention to have a very good game. N'Zogbia did fly past him a couple of times when he had a head of steam up but at least Manga didn't do anythign reckless and Vinnie was behind him to clear up.

Deluded soul would be a better comparison they are, after all, for the most part, City fans.

Do you think it's because the money has come from an Arab state?

I'm only suggesting this because everyone was really excited when Chelsea came into money. Before the money both City and Chelsea shared equal status. They certainly wasn't a club any bigger than City, and they never get dragged into the old 'you brought the premiership' argument.

Everyone wanked in their pants when Jack Walker brought the Premier league

The Roma game was the last straw, but even before that, because of the negativity around City I've now stopped supporting England

You are confusing two different broadcasters.
Shearer was utter garbage with his stupid inane comments. $ky on the other hand were very complimentary and that is the point posters have mentioned on the MOTD. How can you have such different opinions... unless one is reading a script.
Carragher said that Kids should watch Silva to learn how to play, he then went onto say not just kids, current professionals could learn from him. How is that hammering us ?

Chelsea got very much similar treatment to ourselves. They were accused of buying trophies on many occasions. We are just the latest whipping boys. Who cares, let them cry.

You clearly didn't pay attention to Carraghers's opening remarks where he slagged off Yaya, Aguero's injury record, our CL performance and our failure to replace Alf before concluding we will nothing this season. This was followed by a bile laden rat boy chorus to the scous commentary during the game right up to the 81st minute. After a demeaning post-match interview with Yaya it's quite true they managed a few desultory compliments about Silva. No confusion friend, just a shared media agenda to undermine City and promote the clubs with the biggest fan base and therefore TV audience,
