I want teams with our players in out as soon as possible.

I couldn't give a shit who wins as long as it doesn't involve a team containing one if our key players.

With our start we need all players back and up and running.

Argentina for me due to the city boys and the fact I put money on them at the start of the tournament. They haven't been great so far but messi has really started to shine so anything is possible.

Similar thoughts from me but i'd like Brazil to win it so their Chelsea contingent are knackered in August.

It's Oscar of Chelsea who is only really playing often for Brazil and I am not convinced Mourinho rates him as highly as the others in his squad.

If a team with a City player in it I will be happy but I really want Argentina to win it, not only because of Zabaleta and Kun but I want Messi to finally be up there with Pele and Maradona.

Would love the Argies or a team like Colombia to win it but can only see Brazil winning it. They have their weaknesses but I can't see where or when they will be allowed to lose.

The only thing I care about is what this means for City. I'd like Ferna or Kun or Zabba to come home with a winners medal because that will boost their confidence for the new season. But with every game there is the risk of more injuries. The more they play the more they will need a proper rest before pre-seaon. One thing is for sure I dont want van Gaal coming to UK with a WC trophy. Was well pissed off with Mexico not going for the knockout blow today.

I dont know about anybody else on here but for me, whoever wins this World Cup isn't going to go down as one of the great World Cup winning teams.

This tournament is all about the star players dragging their team over the line as we have seen with Messi and Argentina, Robben and Holland, Neymar and Brazil, James with Colombia etc...

The best "teams" in my opinion are Chile and Germany but I wouldn't call it one of the great Germany teams, although many will argue with that.

On the whole it's all about the individual brilliance of the countries star man for me in this competition.

There's not been a poor player for Colombia yet. All of them have been immense for me, the best team so far. Rodriguez has been stand-out but the others have been good n'all.

As somebody else mentioned; this isn't a World Cup of great teams, it's star players dragging their team to victory.

Brazil (Neymar), Argentina (Messi), Germany (Muller) and Colombia (James) are all the same in that regard.

Genuinely want a European team to win, proud to be both English and European myself, and sick of the constant media reminders that a European team has never won it in South America etc etc.

I guess that makes me in the minority with all the anti Europe feeling around nowadays though (I'll blame Farage for that).

Don't think it will happen mind you, and would still be happy for Zabba, DeMic and Sergio if the Argies did it.

Might not be full of great teams, but there's been plenty of good football, so they haven't been too bad.
