BMW 320d Sport. It's lovely, very smooth drive and decent if not blistering acceleration.

Only down side is it has no DAB radio, so I can't listen to the cricket or 6 Music.

Get a DAB tuner - I have this one in my ageing Picasso - signal can be a bit in and out with a screen mounted aerial - could do better with an external one but so far can't be arsed getting round to sorting one out. £99.99 when I bought mine too - doh !

Defenders are bringing very good money now, a mate of mine, who had a SWB 1991 has just got £2500 for it.
Although great mechanically, he'd never cleaned it, inside or out, for the 8 years he owned it, it was like a skip
on wheels and you had to wear overalls to sit in the fucking thing.

Haha yeah I want to get one and do it up, hence the need for another car alongside as it won’t be what I want to drive every day for a while...

Great cars. Just got rid of mine due to excessive miles,but never gave me a minutes bother. .Just got a new Insignia automatic. Far too many gadgets, which are wasted on me, but a lovely drive and excellent on juice for a 2L.
