So what is known about Dynamo Kiev?

They are a good team from an underrated region of the world (former Soviet Union, now Ukraine). They are constantly battling with Shakhtar over the Ukrainian league and finished 2nd last season.

Who to look out for? Well you can't really look behind one of the best strikers of the 2000s, Shevchenko, who is back home there and scoring a fair few goals even if he is past his best.

They always finish 2nd and were just about the only decent team in the Ukraine until that oil company brought Shaktar, so 1 decent team stopped them from automatic entry to champs league basically

Yeah, we can not compete with there Experience. We only have players who have won ...

The premiership
The Bundesliga
Spanish La Liga
The Ducth Eredivisie
The Coppa Italia
Copa de Ray
The Belgian First Division
The Champions League
The Euros
The World Cup

... between them. And have competed in European competition at the highest level, playing against and for the best teams in Europe.

They like their homoerotic rumbles

Kyiv is currently in blistering snow and freezing temperatures. So warm up warm when you travel..so when is the tie at Eastlands? Delighted DK are coming to UK.. so I don't need to watch this game from crappy stream.

I don't suppose DK sector tickets will be sold by Man City? It is one drawback from being here, but, I am thankful for this game.

I saw one person say we never lose at home to foreign opposition? I would say we are better away from home. At home we can be careless.. but not for this game.

Players to watch.. Mykhalyk will be out..massive blow.. Sheva has found some form thankfully. Milevskiy we all know about. Husyev is always a danger and Yarmola (Andriy Yarmolenko) is doing very well. Vuko is starting to be a hero now..Eremenko I have never been convinced. This time is now Eree, I will be thankful.

Now for this game in Manchester, will arrangement be published by City?

Good luck to you..but not for this game!

Just a thought.

Don't you think they may just be a little worried about us as well. The worlds richest club, with Tevez, Dzeko, Mario, Silva, Dejong, Kompany, Kolarov, Hart, and a host of other players that would walk into their team. Not only that, but we have a certain manager who is pretty clued up on tactics, especially away from home.

I think they, the club and their fans will be far more worried about us.

About time someone said something like this

2 weeks ago people were saying that we had a better squad than Utd and we were gonna win the league and now all of a sudden Dynamo fucking Kiev are not only gonna knock us out but are going to beat us convincingly! Give me strength

As a regular watcher of Dynamo Kiev I can tell you this, they will come at us with all guns firing and try to finish the job in Kiev. They will try to come to Manc with at least a 2 goal lead, then they will do the same at our place. Dynamo are a very experienced European team who know what it takes to beat the best in Europe. This will be a really tough test and City will need to be at their very best to come away from Kiev with anything. In my honest opinion the winner of this tie will go on to win the final and as much as I hate to say this, I cannot see City progressing. In fact, if City play their usual half assed I don't give a rats ass approach, we will be the next team to suffer an 8-1 kicking be Dynamo Kiev. The only superstar at Dynamo is Shevers, but they play for the pride of the shirt, not the wage packet, and they give 110% no matter who they play or where they play. I tell you the truth people, this could very well be our last game in this competition. So my prediction is this...In Kiev it will be 3-1 to Kiev and 1-1 at Coms..Sorry but they are just too good for us and they know their way around the European stage. And had Dynamo played Aris, the tie would have been over in Greece in the first half! I know I will take some serious criticism for what I have wrote but I watch both teams week in, week out and if you could put the Kiev Heart into the players at City we would Run away with the league and win the triple every year! CTID.

LOL...right lads, that's it, we're out.

We can beat anyone in the world on our day.

We should respect all the teams left in the competition but fearing they'll beat us because "they've been in the CL" is just plain daft.

Should always play the men in the shrts, not the "club."
That's where so many half decent teams fail against the rags,Madrid, dippers etc.

Beaten in the tunnel.
Spot on ,always thought that as well. Mentality is everything when you think you are the better team, and that you can win, even if the other team scores first. Just like when we all played on the rec. A rec was the local park come patch of grass where lads teamed up to play games. You had to remember 'who 'was on your side, that was the hard part. I can see the improvement of mental attitude myself in the way we play now.We have started bossing games away or at home. I would say we have the best now since managers Mercer/ allison.
