So who do we want in the semi?

Good to see the soft arses are out again! If it's not worrying about Everton fans in our end it's saying we will get stuffed by Liverpool!

I really don't know how some of you cope with being a Blue.

What are you suggesting by "Concentrate on the league".
That we throw in the towel against Everton because we MIGHT meet Liverpool in the final?
Or we try to win against Everton but if we get through to meet Liverpool in the final then we throw in the towel at that stage?
We're all ears!
 
Lets not assume we will beat Everton they are on decent form - If we stay injury free then hopefully we will have to much for them as games will be thick and fast in Jan.

The final isn't until 28 Feb so a long way off, anything can happen with injuries and the Jan window which Klopp may go into (I don't think we will). Also Liverpool are relying on pressing teams , that works well but it's hard to do in this league and there are a lot of games coming up. They only need a couple of bad results and will be in a fight for 4th spot so the w*nkfest may be over by then.
 
After the draw last night he was asked who he'd like and he said we've shown we can deal with everton we can deal with city and starting pissing himself but we have stoke!
 
Did anyone notice the referee bias towards the dippers last night? That is something that could fuck us up in the final if we beat Everton!
 
We're the best team left in the competition. If we play as well as we know we can, we'll win it. Everton are a good side but we should beat them over 2 legs and I'd fancy us to beat either Stoke or Liverpool in the final.
 
Judging by how we lined up against Southampton on Saturday I don't think Pellergrini would make the same mistake with the team he picked for Liverpool.

Everton are playing well but we've shown earlier on in the season we can withstand what they throw at us. Going to be an interesting month of football leading up to these semi finals. Let's hope we can start cobbling a run together and have everyone fit.
 
Playing Everton is gonna be a tough game as we all know but hopefully if we can win it I'm sure it will be us against Liverpool in the final. We owe them one an what a place and game to do them.
 
A lot will depend on the Christmas results, and who we draw in the FA Cup (was it 2012 when we played United in the FA Cup, three days before Liverpool in the LC Semi?)
We could easily fall between stools, but we'd be favourites if Kompany, Silva and Aguero were all in the starting line-up.
Everton will face the same problems, especially with their squad being smaller.
 
Stoke City know they can beat Liverpool because they beat them 5-1 not too long ago. Come on Charlie Adam, Glenn Johnson and Peter Crouch, show Liverpool what they are missing.
 
It will be a tough couple of games against Everton, but we should hopefully have enough over two legs to get through. I imagine Liverpool will turn Stoke over, so it's going to take a big effort to win it again this year.
 
Wernt long ago people being happy with a draw in seville as we were supposed to get hammered and look what happened there. If we get the bin rats at wembley we will smash um as were the best team in england fact. Come on City.
