So why suddenly do they talk about Aguero leaving?

He also regarded Bravo as more likely to keep the ball out of our net than Hart. I'm really struggling with the trade off on this one. It's not as if we're talking about an elephant like Ibrahimovic, plodding through the Premiership jungle and occasionally swishing his tail to stop flies landing on him. Aguero has significantly upped his work rate this season, he's strong, quick, reasonably mobile and he scores more than enough goals to compensate for any relatively minor shortcomings with his work rate. I'd be very reluctant to part with such a player, and that's without even starting on his immense commercial value to the club.
Every one seems to ignore this .

The transfer deadline has come and gone, it's only natural that some journos will try to make a mountain out of a molehill about other 'noteworthy' things.

I personally don't pay the 'rumours' any mind, , as far as I'm concerned, it's just the football media exaggerating anything and everything.
I rather believe what comes out of Jim Carey's anus than those shit stirring rags.

Because for me it isn't true. Aguero is doing nowhere near enough and hasn't done for the best part of eighteen months. My issue with Sergio is he knew that Pep was coming for the best part of six months and has made little effort to adapt and improve.

Towards the end of last season even the likes of Fernando, Zaba etc were upping their levels to ensure they had a future, Sergio came back from the Copa America looking out of shape and isn't putting the work in on the pitch.

Aguero is a brilliant striker, one of the very best ive seen, however,i just dont see him as the front man for this team any longer,he simply doesnt fit the profile Pep wants. He may well of upped his workrate but i'm not sure thats enough,as he still frequently looks out of sync with his colleagues and often displays a selfishness thats detrimental to our effectiveness as a team.
I honestly believe we could be far more ruthless with a better fit.

Sergio is going nowhere, I don't get this Jesus hype just yet he's played a couple of games and city fans are now talking about if we sell Sergio, give your fcking heads a wobble he's our main striker and deserves respect for what he's done for our club. He's proved to be a world class striker for us and all this talk is so disrepectable, he's our best striker consistently since he joined, Jesus might take that label in years to come but kun is our King today and Jesus might be our King tomorrow.

The vibes coming from the player and the manager dont seem too different to those in the lead up to Hart's departure.

I don't rate any of those mentioned higher than Aguero plus I've no doubt we'd end up selling him at a lesser fee than we'd fork out for his replacement.
It doesn't add up for me. If Aguero wants to stay I'd like to think that the manager will have already took him to one side and explained exactly what's expected from him in the future. I'd also like to think that Pep has more confidence in a world class player being able to tweak his game enough to feature than a few in our fanbase.

Maybe he has, maybe he told him from the off what was expected from him and Aguero just isn't interested.

For all the talk of how good he is, (and he is the best striker i've seen in the PL) he has a tendancy to play for himself and not the team, something Jesus has shown is that he's a team player, plus also he's missed 7 games already this season through suspensions, that's not acceptable form a centre half never mind our star centre forward.

My view, and has been for a good while, is that he's off this summer regardless. I hope i'm wrong at that he's willing to adapt to the changing surroundings and new responsibilities that Pep is asking for and that he strikes up an unstoppable partnership with Jesus, but i just can't see it.

Because the press are gossip bitches..... Same on here with some fans talking about how we dont need him now. LOL crazies reading crazy press bollocks

I am sure he wont leave, he will eventually learn he can be even better, Pep is using Jesus to get the best out of Aguero, he is coming into his absolute prime, we would be crazy to sell now, especially since for the first fkin time in ages we have two good strikers/goal poachers who can play off of each other or with each other.

I also think that people are ignoring Kun's wishes. If, and granted it's early days, but if Gabi plays more games as the 9 between now and the end of the season, then IMO Kun will ask for a move. He isn't going to be a squad player. He's either undisputed number 1 or he'll walk. Nailed on.
