So why suddenly do they talk about Aguero leaving?

I think it's always been a case of when Sergio decided it was time to cash in his chips.

It just so happens that this is probably the first time when Kun knows the team will go on after him, and he is still too young and relevant to accept he will be impacted by the evolution which this team is needing to undergo.

That goal wedded him to us, perhaps longer than he even anticipated at the time.

There are only two players I would accept as a younger replacement to even reduce the percentages of a huge error in judgement, and that's one of Greizmann and Dybala.

Apparently, it has come to light Dybala has a £38m buy-out clause until 2020 - you do that deal - all day long.

And you build that statue to King Kun if he feels he doesn't want to sour our bond by sticking it out.
100%. He will always be the King. I just don't want to sour that. If it's time, it's time.

And as good as he is he won't be guaranteed game time at Real, Barca, Bayern either and anyone else is a step down at the prime of his career.

TBF, guaranteed or not, at Real he'll displace Benzema easy. He won't go to Bayern or Barca. PSG want him. He is prepared to go there and they for sure will guarantee him a starting spot.

Nah. That kid (he's 18) is fucking unbelievable. Scored another hat trick on Saturday. He's strong, he's quick, he's clinical, and he is apparently mentally absolutely spot on. They're already talking about a fee which will eclipse what Martial cost by some distance as he's a much better prospect. I'd have him in a heartbeat.

Monaco have struck gold with their recruitment in the last five years. Some sick players coming through there.

from what you are saying then, we have some game on with them next week? i know they are top but don't know good they really are

I'd still take Fabinho, Sidibe, Mendy and Bakayoko ahead of him.

We don't need another u21 pacey winger/striker. We've spent £125,000,000 on 3 of them in the last 18 months.

Mbappe may very well go on to be something special, but Sané, Jesus and Sterling are further down the same path, and you just have to play the ones we've got and enjoy watching them as they improve you can't fill the entire squad with wide forwards, and having too many just stifles them anyway.

He'll be ahead of Benzema yes but getting no more game time than he does here, it's been a huge failing on behalf of both ourselves and Madrid that we've had so little cover for our main strikers and both of them have been in the unique position of being virtually undroppable because of it. Can't see him going to PSG, they have Cavani and even with Monaco starting to improve Ligue 1 is a huge step down from the PL.

I've got £100m, are you sourcing those fees from the S*n?:)

£47m for Sané, £49m for Sterling, £28m for Jesus. £124m. £119m if you want to take the £44m for Sterling, but I see no reason to pretend they aren't going to fulfill the add-ons as they're obviously worth the money spent on them.

Listened to pep and he said he doest know where serge will be next season he doesnt know where he will be next summer he doesnt know where amyone will be next season.

You've taken the euro figure there for Sané and put a pound sign in front of it - £44m+£37m+£27m - £108 million. I know one of Sterling's add ons came into play if we won the CL with a few years so they're far from certs.

I'm shocked at the amount of Blues I have come across who consider Monaco as some sort of also-rans.

We lucked out with this draw.

I heard some woman in Mary D's before the Swansea game being asked by a French journo what she thought of Monaco and I was just shaking my head at her lack of knowledge and levels of arrogance.

Apparently, "They'll be no problem, easy."

No, Sané is £36.5m rising to £47m, an like I said, I don't feel the need to pretend the add-ons won't be reached.

I can't see where you're getting those figures from - the only mention of add ons I can see is going up to £41.5m can you post a link?

Talkshite getting ahead of themselves.

Starts with a press conference I bet they spin it as dressing room split by 16:00.

Some prats must have been interviewed for that.

I'm going for high scoring games decided in The principality. Back on topic I think Pep is motivating Sergio to let us the see the best of him.

I don't. I think he's replacing the spine of the squad. It's essentialy still the team that Mancini built, with Hart, Vinny, Yaya and Sergio as our most important players. He fucked Hart off, Vinny has been fit for 6 weeks and has played one game. Yaya is only back because of injury to another key player, and now it looks like the end for Kun.
He is completely rebuilding the squad and when he's finished it will be a team that Pep has built and be able to take full credit for.
